Standard Adults or Kids Drumming Lessons are 30 minutes each class, one class per week booked by Term. Drums can be played in a variety of styles and genres & courses can be customized to suit students individual requirements, whether you’re playing for fun or to pursue accredited exams. Lessons help develop spacial awareness and also have a physical benefit.

Our Drums Teachers will take you through the basic rhythms, rudiments and patterns to help you play drums along with your favourite Music or to write your own creative beats.

Graded Drum Exams | Taking Music Grades

Graded Drum Exams are a great way to test yourself! They also give you a goal to aim for, exams also offer you a chance to show how far you have progressed!

Drum exams are held 3 Times per year. Each exam consists of performing 3 pieces, technical exercises and Musicianship questions. Exams are an optional part of your music experience at Blanch Music but if you wish to discuss them please ask your teacher or the admin team.

We offer exams from: RSL (Rockschool Exams) and Trinity.

Learning Music Through Drums

Our classes are fun and enjoyable but we make sure to cover all the necessary skills & techniques to become a great player. Each student* has their own kit to play along with their teacher, lessons are held in our drum specific rooms with PA systems for playback.

You can learn a variety of styles from our teachers from; Afrobeat, Jazz, Metal, Rock, Pop, Blues and much much more. Each lesson is tailored to your requirements and goals.

All of our Vocals tutors are professional music teachers who have studied music at 3rd Level or privately with Exam Boards.

From beginners to advanced players our tutors can teach you across a wide range of Styles & Genres including; Acoustic, Electric, Classical & Bass. Styles/Genres include; Pop, Rock, Blues, Jazz, Classical, Finger Styles and much more.

Hybrid or Online Lessons

All of our courses can be taken in Person, Online or for your convenience Hybrid classes. Zoom (Or Skype) Guitar lessons have never been easier to take, login to our student portal and launch your Guitar class with 1 click.

You can opt for online lessons at any point throughout your course by contacting the office. A Webcam is essential and it’s recommended for the best experience to have a large screen and wired connection.

What Am I Meant to be Practicing this week?

Ever get home from your lessons and you are not sure what to practice? Or your children are doing lessons and you didn’t get a chance to see the teacher?

We send an email with your homework each week, it updates you on progress each week. All these notes are also kept in your student portal, login at anytime to access your personal notes. Check upcoming calendar, make payments safely & securely.

We stat our Drum students from 6 Years +. Some student may find the kit a little big at 6 years, your teacher will ensure the sizing is correct.
No. You can start lessons without a drumkit. We do recommend that you buy a set of Drum sticks and practice pad. If you do plan on continuing more than a few terms, getting your own kit (Acoustic / Digital) is recommended.
Standard Drum lessons are 30 minutes each class. After each class you will receive your work to complete between the classes.

Standard Drum lessons are €26.95 per class. Lessons are booked by the term (or remainder of a term) and paid in 2 Parts; Deposit & Balance After your second lesson.
Drum Lessons are available on Mondays through to Thursdays and Saturdays.
Drum lessons are available from 1pm - 9pm , Monday to Thursday. On Saturdays lessons start from 10am - 6pm.
