Band Labz – Terms & Conditions
Program Structure
Band Labz runs on a term-based enrollment only basis.
Each term includes 5 ensemble classes.
Each class runs for 90 minutes (unless adjusted as outlined below).
Fees
Fees are charged per term.
Current fees can be found on the {fees page name – link}.
Enrollment is confirmed only once full payment has been received.
Ensemble Size & Structure
Each ensemble requires a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7 students.
Exceptions to ensemble size may be discussed but must be approved by the school.
Ensembles may include students of different ages and/or different instrumentations.
If an ensemble’s size decreases, the school may reduce lesson duration accordingly, while keeping the same fee structure.
Student Placement
The school may move students between ensembles if it leads to better musical outcomes or a better group fit.
Age groupings are a guideline and not a guarantee.
Ensemble Times
Ensemble 1 (12–14 years): 10:00–11:30
Ensemble 2 (14–17 years): 11:45–12:15
Ensemble 3 (18+ years): 13:00–14:30
Class times and student allocations are subject to change and may be adjusted by the school.
Attendance, Cancellations & Refunds
Missed classes or student withdrawal do not qualify for refunds or make-up classes, as Band Labz is a group program.
Only classes cancelled by the school are eligible for a make-up class, which will be scheduled at the school’s discretion.
Code of Conduct
Students are expected to behave respectfully and follow the school’s expectations.
Disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior that negatively affects the ensemble or learning environment will not be tolerated.
The school reserves the right to end a student’s participation if their behavior is not in line with these expectations.
If a student’s participation is ended due to disruptive or inappropriate behavior, no refund will be issued.
General
By enrolling in Band Labz, students and guardians agree to these Terms & Conditions.
The school reserves the right to update these terms when necessary.
