How To Enrol
How Do I enrol for Music Lessons?
There are 3 main ways to get started with lessons here in Blanch Music. During the enrolment process, we take the relevant details for your lessons. Each student has access to our student portal which will show you upcoming lessons, notes from your teacher, your account balance and much more.
What Happens During Enrolment?
During this process we gather your details, preferences for days & times and also collect a €50 Booking Deposit. This payment is taken from your overall fee. Once your form and fee have been processed our office will contact you via email or call to confirm available spaces and confirm your place.
Why Do you take a Booking Deposit?
Booking deposits let us know that you are committed to taking a space with one of our teachers. Deposits are taken to ensure your space is saved and helps us build each term’s timetables.
What If I want a Refund?
If you have booked lessons with a deposit there are the following instances where you can receive a full refund: You change your mind within 48 hours of booking You may receive a partial refund if you change your mind after 48 hours or before the start of a term (See our full Terms & Conditions Here).

All Lessons are held in Blanch Music (Excluding, Online Lessons where applicable)

Private lessons are on a 1:1 basis, they are 30 minutes long. All private classes are held in dedicated lesson rooms.

Group lessons are 45-minute lessons, there is a maximum of 6 students per group and no less than 4. A group of less than four will be given a 30-minute lesson, times are subject to change throughout the term. Drum lessons with less than 3 students will be 30-minutes. Group classes are only available to students up to 18 years of age.

Groups are made up based on the student’s aptitude but we try to place students of like ages and ability into the same classes. Some changes may be made at the teacher’s request.

Places can only be held with the payment of a booking deposit

If your teacher is unable to give a class/lessons an alternative day or teacher will be arranged.

Blanch Music does not open on Bank Holidays, any lessons that are due on a Bank Holiday will not be charged for at the start of the term.

If you wish to speak with a teacher regarding progress or any other issue, we ask that you do so at the start of a class as a courtesy to the next student.

Exams: Exams are optional, there are a number of options. Please ask in the office or your teacher for details. Exam fee’s are extra, payable to the examinations board. Accompaniment is required (at the cost of the student) for all exams excluding Guitar, Drums & Piano.
Refer a Friend
Get €25 credit on your student portal account when you refer a friend to Blanch Music! Referrals must be new students and cannot currently be enrolled in any of our services.
Please note that referral credit cannot be used against arrears and the recipient’s account must be in good standing. You can recommend as many referees as you wish.
Once the referred person makes a deposit you will receive your €25 credit and the new student can refer a family member or friend. If you cancel lessons before full payment is made your credit cannot be redeemed. Referral credit cannot be redeemed in cash.

Family Discounts
If you are learning multiple instruments or have multiple family members taking lessons you can avail of our family discount. Discounts are applied once lessons fees are paid within 2 weeks of your class’s start date
If you wish to enrol more than one member of your family please get in touch and we will create a discounted offer for you. Our music classes are for all ages so whether it’s parents and children, or just the little ones, we will tailor a pricing package to suit your needs.
