Blanchardstown School of Music offers the following music lessons:

Term 1: September 7th – Decemember 20th (14 Week Course, Mid term: 26th October – October 30th Inclusive)

• Vocal / Singing
• Guitar (Electric*, Classical & Acoustic*)
• Bass
• Saxophone
• Clarinet
• Violin
• Drums*

*Available in Group

Group Lessons are 45 minutes long, maximum number of students is 8 and a minimum of 4 (classes with less than 4 will be a 30 minutes).

Private lessons are One 2 One lessons.

Lesson Costs are as follows:

TERM 1 Fees: September 7th – December 20th

Private Lessons: €315.00 (14 weeks)

Group Lessons: €190.00 (14 weeks)

TERM 2 Fees: January 18th – April 17th

Private Lessons: €225.00 (10 weeks)

Group Lessons: €135.00 (10 weeks)

TERM 3 Fees: April 19th – June 26th

Private Lessons: €225.00 (10 Weeks)

Group Lessons: €135.00 (10 Weeks)

TERM 4 Fees: July (Private only)

Private: €90.00

Terms:

Term 1: September 7th – December 20th (Mid term: October 26th – October 30th inclusive) – 14 Week course

Term 2: January 11th – April 17th (Mid term: February 15th – February 19th inclusive) – 10 Week course

Term 3: April 19th – June 26th (May 3rd Bank Holiday / June 7th  Bank Holiday) – 10 Week course

Term 4: Private lessons only for month of July

Terms & Conditions: Blanchardstown School of Music 2009/2010

Lessons:

· Private lessons are on a One 2 One basis, they are 30 minutes long. All private classes are held in dedicated lesson rooms.

· Group lessons are 45-minute lessons, there is a maximum of 8 students per group and no less than 4. A group of less than four will be given a 30-minute lesson, times are subject to change throughout the term. Drum lessons with less than 3 students will be 30-minutes. Group classes are only available to students up to 18 years of age.

· Groups are made up based on the student’s aptitude but we try to place students of like ages and ability into the same classes. Some changes may be made at the teachers request.

· Lessons missed due to teacher illness or teacher absence will be rescheduled to the closest convenient date. Lessons missed by student’s absence cannot be made up or refunded.

· Blanchardstown School of Music term length vary from term to term.

· Blanchardstown School of Music does not open on Bank Holidays, any lessons that are due on a bank holiday Monday will not be charged for at the start of the term.

Payment Details:

· A booking deposit of €50 is needed to secure a place for lessons.

· Blanchardstown School of Music accepts cheques (made payable to Blanchardstown School of Music), Cash, Laser or Credit Card.

· Blanchardstown School of Music has a strict no Refund Policy unless a place is not available.

· Payment for lessons must be prompt and paid in before the start of the term. Student whose fees are unpaid by the second week of term will not be admitted into classes. Any discounts are only applicable when payment is prompt and before the start of term.

General Terms & Conditions:

· Students deemed to be disruptive to other students, teachers or members of staff will be asked to leave or their guardian will be asked to collect them. Our aim is to have a fun and professional atmosphere in the school.

· Students who are not returning to the school for the following term must notify the school as soon as possible.

· Blanchardstown School of Music cannot be held responsible for any damage, theft or loss of any instruments, equipment or other items.

· Blanchardstown School of Music value any input or suggestions, which may help to improve the quality of our service. Please do not hesitate to contact a member of staff or the manager.

· Blanchardstown School of Music will not be able to loan students instruments from the shop, please ensure students bring all materials / instruments needed for lessons.
